Counted Wishes Festival, an online festival for cross stitch design, March 15th-21st. I look forward to participating for the first time this year and Back In The Day will go on sale at the festival.
BITD is progressing and I wanted to share some other inspiration for this piece. As I was gathering motifs/images I wanted for this design I found an interesting pattern in a piece of our EAPG (early American pressed glass) collection.
This beautiful old compote stands in one of our bathrooms, filled with scented soaps. It's triangular pattern is so rhythmic and you can see I used it in the two green and blue bands bordering the orange Assissi band.
